Bank Balance amount??? please help

Hello everybody,

I am trying to get my parents here and I am H1.

My parents visa date is on 8th of Feb and I am trying to prepare the documents. I have a question about the bank balance. I have a balance of 15,000$ on my checking account and that is all the amount that I have here. Is it enough for sponsoring both my father and my mother. My father is a business man and he can show about 10 lakhs on his checking and savings account and about 4cr of property. is 15000$ a sufficient amount to sponsor them??? and when is the best time to take the bank statement and I have an account with Bank of america.

I think that should be sufficient. Incase they feel it is not then your dad can also show his savings and show that he too can spend for his trip.

Latest 3 months statements is sufficient. For Feb appt you can take Jan, Dec, and Nov statements. Have heard some problems with bank verification letter from Bank of America, so get that at the earliest.
