  • Visitor Visa as a Student from Canada

I am currently studying in a University in Toronto. I am in my last semester (2 months left). I am planning to visit USA (east coast most probably) just for a week with my friends in 2 months, they all have visas already. I am worried that since this is my last semester, the official might deny my visa application because he might think I will not come back.

So Is it even worth trying?

Canadian national hero Wayne Douglas Gretzky, CC said "You miss 100 percent of the shots you never take".

He was referring to some kind of game, but it would apply to visa applications as well. What do you have to lose, really? The $160 MRV fee?

That said, B visa approval rates are low for single, unemployed, young folks from under-developed countries.

Thanks for replying. Just another question.

In case my application got rejected, will that rejection record be saved in their database and will it affect my future tourist visa applications?

      Thanks

They will store all of your data, including your answers in the interview, but rejection of your current application will not effect on your future application.

They will issue the visa based on your eligibility at that time.

This is my opinion, not a legal advice.
