B1 vs B2 HELP

A friend from Russia recently completed and submitted her DS-160, paid her fees, and scheduled the interview. However, she put B1/B2. She is worried now because she thinks that she should have put B2. Is there a strict difference, and will this affect her chances of getting the tourist visa? Thanks.

She inputted "B1/B2" correctly, as the decision ( of B1 or B2) will be made at her interview, based on her given reasons for a visa application.
