My father and brother have their US Visa visitor interview scheduled at Delhi on 13th and 14th. We are from Mumbai but since we did not get desired dates in Mumbai, we had to opt for Delhi. Now we are in a fix as to which date ticket should we book. We were planning for 17th early morning or max 18th early morning one.
How soon can we expect the passport back (assuming they get it approved) ?
Also where would we need to collect it in Mumbai ? Will it be at the US local consulate or a Bluedart office or some VFS center ?
When my H1B Visa interview happened in Mumbai, I got my passport next day 10 AM at Pune VFS center. I don't think I ever received a SMS but I was constantly following the bluedart tracking number (which I received after sending the passport# to their specific email id) and as soon as I saw it is delivered to VFS center, I went there.
Can anyone suggest ?
