Urgent help needed in Reschedule VISA

Hi,
I have read the comments of the other guys. But my problem is bit different.
I tried to reschedule visa but not suitable date found ,hence exit..But my experience is like that,

When I search the dates thru menu>>Availability of dates..It shows me the availability of the dates like 15 Feb,10March etc.

But when I try to reschedule the dates thru rescheduling Menu, it does not shows these dates. It shows some other dates like 25 March etc.

If in mean time I again check availability dates it shows 10 Jan is available.

What is the problem with me. Could you advice me the Exact cause of problem. So that i can prepone interview dates.

1) Click on the Reschedule Appt Tab
2) Select No in the "Do you have BEP ID" screen
3) Click Continue in next screen
4) Enter the details asked for like name , passport num , reciept num , ramdom generated num
5) Next screen shows a table which lists your appointment (If you have taken appointment along with your family , all the members will be listed) , Select every one and click Continue
6) It will throw a warning popup that " Rescheduling can be done only once" , Click on Yes to continue
7) A calendar will be shown where the free slots will be displayed
8) Again on clicking continue, one more message telling that rescheduling is allowed only once appears and if clicked, the appointment gets rescheduled and also the new docs are listed for download , all the other forms remain the same, only the interview letter changes showing the new appointment .


this is the right way. Dates shown in any other ways may not be accurate.

Thank U very much for your advice. It means the date comes in Rescheduling are actual ones. and shown In availability are fictitious.

One more thing in rescheduling >>after reaching calender>>If u do not found intending dates, One can quit from there without losing the opportunity of again rescheduling.

yes, u can quit without changing ur initial date.

Visa helps.

After coupls of days Saite problem I tried to reschedule Visa dates today. But system is behaving strangely.

First screen I filled all the details like passport number ,DOB ,receipt etc.
Next screen comes with showing me the existing interview dates.

with option "reschedule","Cancel"."Exit"

I clicked on reschedule. Pop up message comes " do u want to reschedule" I say yes.

third screen comes with same values of second screen but selection menus are "Confirm Reschedule" and "EXit" And no display of any dates..

As no dates are visible , I can not go for confirm Reschedule and Exit..

What is the approach..can any body guide me.

I too saw the same problem, I guess that's why I landed on this topic! Hope it is a transient problem. If anyone was able to see the dates calendar, please reply.

I think I figured it out. Here are the steps as of now:

1) Click on the Reschedule Appt Tab
2) Select No in the "Do you have BEP ID" screen
3) Click Continue in next screen
4) Enter the details asked for like name , passport num , reciept num , ramdom generated num
5) Next screen shows a table which lists your appointment (If you have taken appointment along with your family , all the members will be listed) , Select every one and click "Reschedule appointment"
6) It will throw a warning popup that "Do you wish to reschedule your appointment?" , Click on OK to continue .
7. Next screen shows the same table with 2 buttons "Confirm Reschedule" and "Exit". Click "Confirm Reschedule", you are still not confirming here, although button may be mis-leading.
8) Click "Continue" on the next screen, 'Priority appointment' screen.
9) Only now a calendar is shown where the free slots will be displayed.
10) I didn't go pass this screen since it mentioned "Once you select a date your previous interview appointment will be cancelled and your new appointment will be confirmed", but it should be the last stage.

I think you are right. The site is is really clunky.. no body know whats doing and happening. I wish i could talk to the people who implemented it. The points which gets me are two things
A) The management, because they still don't think its serious.. that people outside are solely dependent on the site, so they have to make it as much usable as possible. Instead of that, the stupid site... does basic functions. Its totally totally unacceptable.
B) The customer service. They know jack. My suggestion is not to call them up. They lie through the teeth. I have tried the whole day yesterday and finally go hold of a rep finally. They don't know anything, except to say "Thats all you can do in the website, follow the website". They don't understand that the person on the otherside has a concern about the website itself.

I guess its all about attitude brothers. VFS sucks !!!!!!! they need to change the attittude.

But when I try to reschedule the dates thru rescheduling Menu, it does not shows these dates. It shows some other dates like 25 March etc. I haven't seen any date which can be rescheduled other than march since yesterday...can you give me the site and direction for that oo.

Please let me know for the above two.. its be greatly helpfull

Just for checking available dates, the link is on homepage itself at the bottom.
As far as rescheduling, you click the "Reschedule/Cancel appointment" and follow all the 10 steps, you should get the calendar to select the dates. Remeber, once you click the date, your reschedule should be complete. You would not have any 2nd chance there after.
