J1 visa to B1 Visa

Hi! I've had my internship in the US for a year and I just came back to the Philippines this May 2015. I'm wondering if my internship in the US will affect my application for a tourist visa in October 2015? I want to spend Christmas there with my boyfriend(he's from Florida) cos I really didn't have the chance to explore the country when I was there cos I had so much work plus I lived in an island and I didn't drive. Is there a big chance that my application will get denied?
