Interview Cancel Advise

Hello,

My parents Visa date is on 20th of this month at Chennai. But on the visa apoointment receipt I can find only my dad's name and my mother's name is not showing on there and I talked to ttsvisas about this and they said they cannot find a match with my mom's passport number in their database.

I think the travel agent who booked the visa appointment three months ago, messed it up and she didn't add my mother's passport as add on. I have already sent the necessary documentation to India. Assuming that everything is OK, I sent documentation sponsering for both my parents. And now this happens.

What would be best now to do? Should my dad attend the interview and test his luck alone or should he also cancel the appointment and reschedule his interview so that they can both go together.

And as my dad's appointment is on 20th of this month, what is the earliest date that the appointment should be cancelled.

First you contact the tts office and check whether the tts system omitted her name due to any system error. Otherwise the person's whose name is on the confirmation report can only attend the interview.

If you are used tts system to get your previous appointment date, you can no longer be able to change it through them. You have use vfs system for any further change.

If you ever have to cancel, do it before 2 days from the apppointment date.

I already emailed them about this and they said, they don't have any record of my mother's passport, But my travel agent is very specific saying that she did add her name & passport while booking the appointment.

But I don't know if I can trust her or not... And whats your advice on my dad attending the interview alone and my mother attend another slot. BTW she doesn't know any other language but Telugu.

Try to get appointment through vfs for your mother in Telungu language
