Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum so bear with me.
I will try and make this question as simple as possible:
I have been in the U.S. from New Zealand since January 19, on an ESTA visa. Obviously since an ESTA is only valid for 3 months I have overstayed, HOWEVER, my husband (a U.S. citizen) and I got married on March 21st, and applied for AOS a week later. Now, we are expecting our first child, and my question to you is, am I lawfully present currently? Seeing as we're married and have filed the appropriate paperwork. I'm simply wondering due to having to get medical insurance soon.
Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Jess Braisted
