Birth Certificate

Hi,

I am currently in US on a B1/B2 visa and i urgently require birth certificate (which i never had) for a job opportunity. Is it possible for me to apply for birth certificate from the indian embassy in US?.

How about calling the Indian embassy and asking THEM ? No phones where you live ?
