Rejected Tourist Visa Application-B1/B2

I had an interview in US embassy in Abu Dhabi for tourist visa. I am working in my present company for 4 years now and been here to Abu Dhabi since 2008. I have my son in the US he is 5 years old. US embassy gave a letter of rejection of 214b. I think my salary is enough but because i have immediate relative in the US so they rejected me. So any suggestion or good advise how and when can i apply tourist visa again with a chance of visa approval? Thanks in advance

You will probably NEVER be granted a B1/B2 visa under these conditions - living in Abu Dhabi and having a 5yo kid in the US. There's always going to be the assumption you won't leave the US, but will instead try to illegally immigrate. Quoting from the US State Department web site:

"Did not overcome the presumption of immigrant intent, required by law, by sufficiently demonstrating that you have strong ties to your home country that will compel you to leave the United "

Having a good job vs having a 5yo kid in the US . . . what do you think the consular officer will believe is more important?
