  • Do I still need a B2 visa?

I'm a Bahamian citizen, my wife is a US citizen. I had a B2 visa prior to marriage and still use it to travel to the US. We live in the Bahamas and have no plans to change that anytime soon.
The B2 visa will expire in about a year and a half. Should I just reapply for a B2 visa or is there some other visa I should apply for?

Yes - when it expires. Being married to a US citizen doesn't give you any special privileges - unless you were planning to move to the US. If and then, your wife can apply for a green card for you.

Thank you. That's what I thought, but wanted to be sure.
