  • can i have a visit visa??

Hi, Can I ask you to help me to find an answer??

will I be able to Visit the USA in next May 2016 ???

it is a family gathering in my cosine house- she is an american citizen- to see here family and my over 75 years uncle, beside 2 other cosine coming from Canada in the same period.. I'll try to be there early next year for 2 weeks.

I'm 41 married women, coming alone, working in governmental job for the last 18 years, I own a flat, having an insurance document from 3 years now (42000 $).. I got an active bank account but not carrying a great deal of money..

So what is my chance to have USA visa for that period of time??

I'll be happy if you can support me with any information

    Best regards
    Yara

You have to overcome the presumption of trying to illegally immigrate to the US. Where is the rest of your family (mom, dad, brothers, sisters, etc?) In your home country? Do you have a boyfriend? Do you go to school (even if part-time) ? Do you have kids? All of that would be evaluated - basically: do you have reasons to go back to your home country, or not ?

To be honest - a 41 years old married woman, traveling alone to the US for a family meeting - sounds legitimate. Specially if your husband and kids are left behind at home. At 41 years old, it's unlikely you'll one day decide to leave everything behind just to immigrate illegally to the US . . .
