Hey all, I'm in a bit of trouble and I hope someone can help. About a year ago I filed a DS-160 with a mistake. I put down yes on "have you ever been refused entry..." because at the time I was living in the US under H-1B. I needed more time to move to Canada so I filed for a B-2 so I can get a few weeks of implied status. Before I could receive the B-2 visa, however, I had to move to Canada anyway so in the mail I got that my B-2 visa application was voided since I was out of the country. That's problem number one.
Problem number two is that after I got a DS-160 filled out I made an appointment (for sometime last September when I filed the DS-160) but couldn't make it (I cancelled the appointment but never made another). I had lost my job and had to get back on the job hunt right away. I forgot all about it until now that I'm safe and secure as a PR in Canada with another job.
Is there any way to make these problems not get in the way of my getting a B-2 Visa to visit the US?
Thank you,
