A person I know entered and overstayed their visa 5-6 months. They returned to mexico. When they crossed back into mexico would they have been informed if they were banned for their overstay? And If they are in fact banned, would a summons to court "trump" the ban? To be clear, If they were summoned as a witness for a court proceeding would Customs and Immigration have to allow them to enter again?
