Hi All,
I am planning to apply visitor visa for my mother. My Mother's passport has her surname with "Potluri" and her spouse name with surname as "Potluri".
And my passport has been printed with mother's surname as "Pottuluri" and Father's surname as "Pottuluri". My name in my passport is with surname "Pottuluri".
All my visa and educational documents are with surname "Pottuluri". I am on H1-B. My husband is also working here in US on H1-B and both of us don't have any birth certificates.
Will there be any problem because of this difference in surnames in getting visitor visa for my mother as I will be sponsoring and inviting my mother for US trip? I am applying visa only for my mother at this point of time.
Please help with your inputs.
Thanks,
Kartheeka
