Visa for Dependants

Hi,

I have a valid B1/B2 visa for United States. I procured this visa on a requirement issued by my company. My travel, however, got cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. I am now planning to apply for a visa for my wife and my 3 year old son so that I may visit the States on personal grounds.

Questions :

1. Is it possible to do so ?
2. What documents does the consulate need to get this done?
3. I am seeking for the easiest / safest route possible.


Note: My wife is a house-wife, but can show ties to India in form of family staying here and my child going to school.
