Mother's Surname missing in my passport, applying for her US visitor Visa

Folks,

I have been browsing this site for few days and thanks to all for sharing numerous information around immigration etc. It really helps a lot.

My q: In my wife's passport, she has only her mother's given name available , e.g.

Mother's passport:

Given Name : AAA
Surname : BBB CCC

Wife's passport:

Mothers Maiden name: AAA

Will this cause any issues while applying for her mother's US visitors visa (am holding an H1B).
