hi all,
i'm new here and the advice given to those in need are good.great platform
so here's my problem:
i have a pending f2b filing by my mother (a green card holder) and my priority date is in 2010.we received an email from nvc saying that they have received my petition.
i have been in the usa illegally since september 2014(came here on b2 visa/i94 expired in september 2014).
i have met a wonderful us citizen who wants to marry me.but i am afraid to go ahead because i am told my mother's petition will be revoked once i am married and the marriage seems like green card marriage because i am here illegally and my mother's petition is taking a long time.
the question is if i should go ahead and marry and go ahead with my boyfriend filing for me?
i appreciate all thoughts and suggestions.
