Applying for B2 Visa second time after refusal the first time - Any comments please ?

Hello:

I have been rejected for the first time under 214 section. Me , my father and mother has applied for the tourist visa. One of my dad's old friend (family fiend) has sent us the sponsorship. The VO said that we do not require any sponsorship letter for non immigrant visas??

Any comments on me applying for the second time would be highly appreciated. Do I need to attach the SPONSORSHIP letter again or should I reapply without it ?? Please help !!
