Day after tommorow, my parents have appointment at Delhi Consulate. Can somebody pls let me know if it is really necessary to take their Marriage Certificate ?

Actually I was speaking with one of my friend. He said that in the Consulate they asked personally about the marriage certificate for his parents. That is the reason I posted this question.

I haven't heard of that as a requirement. If they have no harm carrying it with them. If they don't then don't worry.
