  • No H1-B stamp on PP, sponsoring parents

    Hi,

I am in US and working on H1-B since 2.5 yrs. I have not entered India after that and so I do not have H1-B stamp on My pass-port. I have F1-stamp on my passport.

I have valid I-797 form, empoymnet letter.5 pay-stubs,US degree etc.... I am sposoring my parent for Visitor visa. Will their visa be rejected if I do not have H1-B stamp????

I will be really grateful if someone is/was in my boat and share their experience.

    Hi!

Thats not a problem. I had a H visa stamped on my passport. However early last year I changed to L visa and later sponsered my parents. They didn't have nay problem with the visa interview. However send the related paper work and also let your parents be aware.
