My mom came to US for the first time in 2012 and stayed for 5 months, we went back to China together and return back to America after two months. When we were at the airport, she got no EOS/COS/AOS on her I-94 because they were asking why she came back again since her visa will expire in one month. They also stamped a date stating she has to leave before that date which she did. But she has been having problems getting her visa renewed because of this issue. This year is the third time she tried, and the last two times the VO was asking her job and stuff but this time they didn't ask her any questions. We are assuming that the visit in 2012 really put her in a bad situation but to be honest, she has a steady job in China and all she wants is to visit me. What should we do at this point? Will writing a letter to the embassy to explain help any? We are very frustrated at this point because I simply just want to see my mom and let her see my life here. Please guide me, any help would be much appreciated, thanks!
