I tried to enter HDFC receipt number after 2 working days and it still says invalid reciept number. WOuld someone clarify if it is total of 7 characters with a alphabet in the front.

Alphabet followed by 10 digit numeric no. You have to key in the 10 digit numeric no only.

2 receipt numbers question

Hi, Thx for your answer. It worked. However, i have a question. My parents have 2 receipt numbers one for each passport, while making an appointment do i need to enter all the information to each receipt number. OR would it ask somewhere in the process if there is a second application? I want them to go together for the appt.

HDFC Receipt

What documents are necessary to be taken to HDFC bank to get the Receipt? My parents took the cash and the passport copy. but they did not issue the receipt. Is some other form needed to fill in ?

I have sponsered twice but only through TTS so not too sure abt the documents needed to get the reciept. Did not the staff at HDFC let your parents know what documents they didn't have or why they could not issue the reciept?

HDFC bank receipt

Yes, the bank told them to fill up the Visa application form. But did not specify any form details. But the immihelp website did not say any such thing regarding the form. It only says to take the passport copy and money.

I am not sure why HDFC bank is asking you to fill the application form.

That is not specified by VFS who makes all the rules for visa application, in cooperation with US consulate.

Well, we went to Pune HDFC bank listed. But the center is Bombay
