Hello!
I will be traveling to Europe next summer for approximately 78 days, but am having difficultly as to whether or not I will need a special visa. Since I am a U.S. citizen, I do NOT need a visa for my time in the UK or Schengen, as long as it is less than 90 days. However, I plan to go to Turkey for two weeks during my trip. My itinerary is roughly: arrive in UK, fly to Spain, fly to Turkey, fly to Italy then continue through the rest of Western Europe.
Does anyone know if I need a multiple entry visa, or since I have my American passport, reason and finances for travel, and am staying less than the 90 days period, can I just travel as usual? I am aware that I need a visa for Turkey, but am not sure if I will be able to enter Italy since I'll have already entered Schengen once in Spain.
Thank you for your help!
