I am a J1 visa holder working as a research scientist at a prestigious university. I have a long term(3 years) girlfriend back at home who i would like to come over to the US to spend christmas holidays with me. she is 22 years old and is a 3rd year university student. How best can she prove ties to home country? is university ID card, admission letter, letter of introduction from school and transcript enough? we got engaged about 3 months ago(before i came to the US). We have tons of pictures together (over 50) that she can take as proof of our relationship as well as phone records, joint bank account at home etc. She has no relative in the US. I will be writing an invitation letter as well as sponsorship letter, and filling form i-134. Prior to my current J1 work status, I had a long history of visiting the US on B2 visa and returning back to my country without ever violating my visa. will that help her application? Any advice?
