Visa granted!!!

Me and my family(4) had our interview today at Mumbai consulate. The interview lasted for 15 mins just 7 question no documents asked and thats it "Your passports will be sent by courier"
Will posted the status on receipt of passport...

You mentioned that 4 of your family members got the visa today. Did that include your brother/sister ? The reason I ask is that my sister is going to go for the interview with her husband and son.

Did you say that you went with your family too for the visa ? Can you share you situation and experience so that we can all learn from it ?

Lastly, in your answer to one of my posts you said that the VFS agent did not take any copies of supporting documents from you. What about the I-134 form ? Did he return that too ?

My case is different cause my sister live in Gujarat and she will have to mail their applications so we want to make sure that we send only relevant stuff.

Mumbai consulate

I had applied alongwith my husband and 2 sons. My Brother-in-law has sent our sponsorship papers. I have posted my experience at Share Experiences you can read the same. Family applying as a whole makes a different I think.

Yes as mentioned earlier no supporting documents were taken except the forms, DD, fee receipt, passport copy, interview letter and checklist.

Finally I realised that it all boiled down to LUCK... cause I had done my documents so well as mentioned on this site will sticky identifing each document and not a single not even I134 was asked for.
