Hi,
My Fiancé is an Indian army officer, he is serving from past 2 years.
I am on H1b in USA, I would like him to visit me here, before we get married and settled in India. But I read many posts that says chances of denial for unmarried young persons are more. So I want to know
1)if he should tell the truth in the interview that he is visiting his fiancé or just tell that he is going for a trip to meet his friends in USA ( He has few friends here in many states)
2)If he says he is visiting with his friends who are already having B2 and shows up at port of entry alone could he be denied of entry?
3) He has strong ties to his country as he us serving army officer- would it help him in having better chances of getting a visa?
4) He has been to Qatar before joining Army to help his uncle in the business, So his passport shows he has travelled to other countries in past- would it help?
5) How much should his bank balance show if he doing a self sponsorship for the trip?
Thanks in advance
Deepthi
