Hi,
I have scheduled Visitor's VISA appointmet for my In-Laws and Parents on Jan 9th / Jan 19th Respectively at Chennia, thought TTS visas, English (due to native unavaiability) . Both of them got it. In-Laws got 10 year M-entry, and Parents Got 1 year M-entry.
Here is the scenario. Both of them have prepared very As we are expecting Baby in 2006 March we applied for this. The pupose of the trip is for Tourism (on / off the paper)
In-Laws Case:
1.) My F-Law is Central Govt Employee (Div Engineer) , and still got 7 years of service and , daughter being in US and Son married and in Germany.
2.) Actually it is Written and Told that Son is doing PG in India and to be married.
3.) Property shown worth 35 lakhs inclusing everything.
4.) Documnetation as suggested by immihelp (as it is)
5.) Questions : About Job, Children , Why visiting, What is the gurantee to come back, What is son-inlaw doing, Salary, When they got married.
6.) Finally verified Sponsor's Doc before granting Visa
Parent's Case :
1.) My Dad is retired 8 years back and Add.Director, Prof.Medicine, Pricipal of famous medical colleage.
1.) Property worth 90 lakhs was shown
2.) Dad is continuing an Active Prove Consultaion. I have elder sisters all married and settled. Same view is presented on/off papers
3.) No Kind of attachment / dependency was projected while answering to Officers (in-spite of me telling my dad)
4.) Questions : Profession, Curisonly asked about Medical profession and dad's pervious postion, Son's Job, Son's expected stay in US, Type of Son't Visa, and Annual Income of Dad
5.) No docs verified, before granting VISA.
I was little dissppoined as my parents got 1 year only. May be due to Dad's profession.
