i went for the visitors visa interview after a long wait. anyway the counselar said that i need additional four weeks of processing and said will give me 10 yr multiple. but i receive the passport with 1 year single entry visa. shall i contact them. anybody has similar experience. please let me know

Hi!

As far as I knew....at the Consulate they generally don't tell you what time of visa they would grant. You would generally get to knwo when you get the passport.

If they did mention to you that they would issue you a 10M visa then you can propoably email the respective Consulate with your details and case and check with them. They generally reply within a day.
