Question : Date since you have stayed in US

I have been US since 2003. I had to go to India in 2005 for 3 weeks to get my H1 visa stamped (Extension). What should the date be on the form.. the one from 2003 or 2005.. ???

What if your first entry was on business visa

In 2003 i was in business visa( FEb - Apr) and then was converted into H1. ( There again I had to go back to india to get H1 stamped) I came back into US with H1 in 2003 in month of May. Should I put the date of FEB or May now... ?

I would say, FEB.

Hi!

My hubby came here on Business visa in Jan 2003 for three months and then he came back again in Aug 2003 on H1 and stayed here since then. So we wrote it as Aug 2003......thats mainly becoz thats from when he has stayed here continous and becoz of the visa status. So I would asssume in your case I would have put it as Feb becz you have stayed continously since then.
