B2-Visa - Visiting Friends

Dear Members,

I am looking to apply for B2-visa to visit US to my friends.

1. This is for tourism purpose, planned to visit in December during Christmas for week.
2. Currently I am in Canada with Canadaian PR holder.
3. I am working in Canada as employee from India (not Canadian employee) and i will be still working here till next year.

1. While applying B2- visa, what documents i should produce.
2. Do i need to get any letter from my Friends in US and purpose of visit letter.

Please guide me in this.

Finances and employment proof. also you need to document your legal status in Canada. Your spouse's PR might be asked too.
Your friends letter might be added to the package but B2 visas are self sponsored so it won't have much weight.

Thank you bandk, I understand, in that case, 1. I can take my bank statements 2. Employment proof, i can get from my company. 3. I have PR card, so i can prove my leagal status in canada.

4. Letter from friend, i can get this, but wondering, will they accept print taken from email sent by my friend in states.
