Hi group members?

I am having interview for USA visit visa after 2 weeks, i am having some doubt regarding the question as under:
Has anyone ever filed an immigrant petition on your behalf with US citizenship and immigration service?

I wrote no but last year i applied online for the USA greencard diversity lottery program in which i wasnt selected.
So, my question is it the immigration service?
I already submitted my visit visa application which means i cannot edit it.
Does they have any system in which they can check??
Kindly help me and suggest me what should i do?

You should be ok...

I'm assuming you answered correctly, since applying for the lottery doesn't constitute someone else applying on your behalf. My best guess would be that this question is referring to whether or not an employer or family member has ever filed a petition on your behalf.
