urgent help (take Visitor Visa a appointment in Chennai Consulate/Mumbai Consulate)

Hello guys

My cousin brother and his wife are thinking to apply for visitor visa first time.they are basically gujarati patel from baroda gujarat.

Now they want to take appointment from chennai consulate instead of mumbai consulate as chennai consulate visa ration is high compare to mumbai

does it affect any negative impact on his decision if he applied in chennai consulate?

as they don't have any relative in chennai too

pl advise accordingly

They can attend from anywhere but where did you hear that there is a "Visa Ration" and Chennai has more of it?

one gujarati couple went at chennai consulate and he told me that chennai have good ratio and even my some friends who are from basically chennai/kolkatta who advise that chennai ,kolkatta have a good ratio.

unfortunately this couple did not get visa but sir my question is tha it good to go some where else rather then your region consulate.

because i also heard that they ask question why did you take appointment from here instead of your region consulate ? pl advise so what should be best answer if ask same question?
