Doubt in q 37 in DS 156

1. Question 37 in DS 156 asks if any of the following persons are in US?. There is no relation of Son-IN-LAW mentioned. In case of son-in-law sponsoring, should we write it anywhere there or just does not check any of the checkboxes?

2. In case if we happen to cancel the visa appointment, is it possible to encash the DDs back from the bank? Is there any specific period for that? Is there any cancellation charges from vfs?

Hi!

1 - you will have to mention daughter and mention her visa status.

2- not too sure....but don't think they refund the cash but you can reschedule the appointment anytime within a year.

For the question 1, what if only son-in-law stay in US and daughter is in India?

Check NO to all choices. Write son-in-law in the column "who will pay for ur trip" if u are sponsoring.
