I live with my husband in US. We have planned to call my parents here. My mom is retired, dad still working. I am aware that for visitor visa, we have to have a bank balance of $5000 for each person. We have an avg. balance of $5000. They have a bank balance of Rs.4 Lakhs. Can we show like, we sponsor for my mom, and my dad is self sponsored? If yes, how much balance should they have in avg.?
