I want to ask spot the passport if it would be accepted for the schengen visa.
It expiry date is 11-03-2016 and I want to travel to Germany from 23 December 2015 to 06 January 2016.
Will it be accpted ?

In order to travel, everyone must always have a valid passport which yours will be until Nov. 2016.

Entering a country depends on if you are approved for a visa from the country you wish to enter.

In this case, you would apply for a Schengen visa at your nearest German consulate. The Schengen visa is what is required for travel within 27 european countries including Germany.

The visa will be approved or denied to allow entry by the consulate officer and no one can say if the officer will approve it or deny it. They will have your application and any documents requested and then make a decision. The passport allows for travel, the visa allows for entry.
