I 130 spouse

I applied i130 for my spouse who is in Austria, priority date was June 9th, I still did not get approved and it's been over 5 months already, I am a U.S. Citizen... Any idea, why it take so long ? Please help share your experience would be really appreciated

Hi. I think you posted this in the wrong space, this is for tourist visas. You need to post on K visas so people who know more about it can answer.

As for my answer. Those visas take a long time even for people already in the US. Best case scenario they take around five or six months. In the worse cases they take years, overall if you two are appart. I have known having both of those cases. Have they contacted you asking for more proof of ongoing relationship or other documents? Has she applied for her own documents over in Austria?

As I said, post this again on a fiancee visa or marriage-based green card, it is where I usually look for topics related to my own case.
