VISA for single mom

Hi, I know a lot of questions have been asked around this.Let me get down to the details.
- I am on a L1 VISA for a reputed firm. The VISA process for this was very smooth. Me and My wife. L1 and L2.
- I am a single kid with no siblings.
- My mother is a single mother. Dad expired about 15 years ago.
- She can support herself to show assets of around 30-40 lakhs in the form of FDs, Property, Gold, Silver etc.
- I can show a bank balance in the US of 15k$ and 40 lakhs worth property in India as well.

Following are the questions.
- How much time should I wait before applying for mom's VISA ? I am reaching there on 21st Novemeber, is it ok to apply within 1 month ?
- How do I get a valuation certificate for Property, Gold and Silver ? What is the procedure for this ?

Hi,

if you are applying for B1/B2 visa or H4 visa for your mom, it should be simple and straight forward. You do not need any evaluation for property or anything. Just fill out I-134 and should be good to go.

Thanks a lot for your reply. Is it that straightforward ?
I see a lot of queries about homemaer widow VISAs being denied. So I just want to make sure that this doesn't happen. What else should i be prepared with ?
