Do we have to take the DD'S from HDFC banks only.

Hi,
My mom's visa was rejected first time from chennai consulate under section 146.what is section 146.? And also can someone tell me is there anyway I can take the DD'S from banks other than HDFC banks for visa application fee and service charge,for the next appt, since my mom's place doesn't have a designated HDFC bank.

I donno know what 146 is. Did the officer not say anything to your mom while she went for her interview?

As far as I know you will HAVE to take the fee receipts from designated HDFC banks only.

You can get DD's from any nationalized bank and deposit it in HDFC's designated branch.

You don't necessarily have to take DD from HDFC bank.

DD from any Nationalized Bank is good enough. You Must have to deposit this dd to HDFC bank and they will issue the receipt number( barcode) for setting an appointment later.
