Consequences of working on a B2 visitor visa

Hi there,

A friend of mine is currently here in the US on a 3 month B2 visitor visa. He has recently been offered 1 month of work while he is here but is unsure whether or not to take it. He has a SSN from a previous J-1 visa which he can give to the employer.
My question is, if he does decide to take the job for 1 month, how will that impact him for future visits to the US? If he returns on another visitor visa will the immigration officer that he meets be able to see that he has previously worked while on a visitor visa in the past?

Consequences of working on a B2 visitor visa

It's illegal to work here in the U.S. while here on a B2 visitor visa. There is no job or 1 month's worth of work worth any consequences this could bring about.
