Parent rejected - applying outside India

HI,

Please give some advice. My Mom (father no more), is visiting my sister in Australia. Sister is planning to visit me in US and hence tried for my Mother's visa at US consulate in australia. After a few quesions, the CO said that my Mom has to go to India to apply.

Is there anyway to re-apply in australia?. Will this be a problem in India?

I am not sure abt reapplying from Aus. They may end up giving the same answer again.

It's a difficult question to predict. BUt donno why you would think it would be a problem to apply from India.
