  • B2 for parents and sister

    Hi ,

My parents and sister have their visa interview next week, Parents are well off and draw sufficient salaries and am not worried about them self sponsoring. The issue is my sister is doing her under grad 3rd year and i am afraid she can be seen as a potential immigrant? and will affect the whole approval of my parents as well. She does plan on coming to US for her masters so i dont think it will be advisable for her to just say i will come back and work here after graduation and have no interest in going to US. That would be just lying to VO's face. SO am not sure what she can do to get a visa. I came here on f1 and recently got my h1 approved. So i believe she makes a strong candidate for immigrant?
Please let me know your thoughts?
Also, can she just not turn up for the interview and let my parents take it alone?

You can apply together and your father can sponsor for whole family.

By chance if your sister visa deny does not mean denial to parents as well. It is common for them to grant it to some members and deny to others from the same family at the same interview.

Sometime young person also get visa so you have to take chance.
This is not a legal advice. Use at your own risk.
