Parents got 10yr visa

My parents got the multiple visitor visa for 10 years in Delhi first attempt. My Father is retired from Govt services and mom is house wife. Co asked them only 3 following questions.

1. Where are you going and why
CA, To meet son and daughter in law
2. How many children you have?
two sons and one daughter
2.Where are they?
second son is with us studying and daughter is married in india
3.How many months are you going to be in USA?
Three - Four months

the CO told them that they got their visa. My parents took interview in Hindi.
My mother got passport late. Father got Passport first and then after 5 day my mother got passport

this is really nice to hear..they went for the hindi line in delhi......was that the lady indian officer who took the interview..plzzztell some more about your parents back ground..bcoz i have my parents visa in delhi on 14th..really scared of the lady fir hindi but my mom cannot handle english at all but my father can ..can u suggest me which line they should enter???

Parents got 10yr visa

My father is retire from Govt services and 65 yr old. My parents are from delhi. The lady who took interview was American and was speaking in broken hindi. I think your parenst should go to Hindi line if they can not handle american english.

Co asked from my passport papers and I-94. Thats it. It took 3 mins to complete interview.

how did ur parents get 10yrs. Did your parents specify in the application? Please let me know if needs to be specified and where?

YOu cannot specify the duration of the visa you want. You can only apply and specify the desired duration of stay and it is upto the officer to grant you the visa.
