When you are accepted to be a Canadian permanent resident, you are required to "land" in order to achieve the status. Since the proof of the status is the permanent resident card, and that card is not obtained when you are landing, you only get a paper saying that you are a new Canadian permanent resident.
My question is: Has anyone here tried applying for a US Visa using that temporary proof that I mentioned above, meaning without the actual permanent resident card?
Thank you in advance.
