Visitor's visa expiring in Dec 2016 and travel to US

My parents visitor visa is expiring in Dec 2016 and they are planning to visit us from April 16 - October 16. Could someone let me know if this should be fine or is there a 6 month validity rule for visas as well.

Yes. They can come to USA without any issue. 6months validity rule is not applicable for visa.
