  • right time to go for interview

    hello,

i want to try for my mother to revisit me this year.
she was with me for her first visit from may-oct end (6 months) in 2005 on a 1yr visa expiring in mar 3rd week 2006?

will it make any difference in terms of chances for getting visa if one goes
mar end or april end or may end?

thanks for all the previous help...

It really depends upon the merits of the overall case. It is difficult to predict.

do not even try to send too soon for interview

      Hi,
Not to discourage you but then try not to send a person for an interview immediately after the first visit. I did the same for my parents first interview 6 months after first visit and it was rejected saying it was too soon for a visit and reason provided was 214B. the second time it was rejected on the same reason of 214b and this time we mentioned the truth that the second sibling was on a student visa, the reason for rejcetion provieded was that you will not come back.
Try to send for interview after about an year or close to 1 1/2 years as the chances for rejection are less .

        Thank you psi.
What was the gap between 1st and 2nd app?
Looks like the second time it was not too soon to revisit, in the eyes of the officier as the reason of rejection was "you will not come back"
Thans for sharing and hepling out
