My F1 visa expired, I am maintaining status, Can I invite parents for my graduation

Hello,
I am currently in the USA with an expired F1 visa. However, I am in status as my I-20 is valid till Dec 2016. My wife stays along with me and she has F2 visa. I want to invite my parents for my graduation. I have few questions before I start processing my parents visa application.

1. Will it be a problem for my parents to get visa because of my expired F1 visa, (but valid status(I-20))?
2. Will it be an issue for me if my parents go for an interview and the Visa officer asks my parents random questions about my stay without renewed visa but valid status?
3. Is there any other documents I need to send to prove my valid status of USA stay?

Please help me with these questions. I greatly appreciate your help and time.

Yes. You can invite them.

1. There will not be any issue as long as you have valid visa status.
2. If visa officer ask they need to explain. Before they go for visa interview you can educate them about your visa situation.
3. Copy of your I-20.
