conversion of the B1/B2 visa to F1 Stundent visa

Dear team
i am in US since last 20 days and my visa is going to be completed in around may/jun 16. I want to change my visitor visa B1/b2 to F1 student visa... Is it possible to do so and what will be the process if possible?.. I have my wife and Son with me too. what will be the suitable time for apply.. and the chance of conversion.

It can be done if you didn't come to USA with intention to convert your visa. But It's advisable to return to your country. Attend F1 visa interview over there and come on student visa. For dependents you can apply F2 visa.
