want to travel with friend who are American citizen

I Have some query pl reply
I am filling the ds 160 form behalf of my uncle .his appointment date is 21/jan/2016 my query is that " There is a question in ds 160 form (ARE ANY ONE TRAVELLING WITH YOU?)" now uncle getting sponsored from usa and sponsored person is in india right now and uncle thinking to travel along with him in same flight so can i mention " YES " of above question in ds 160 form with full detail of sponsor person.
if my uncle travel with him does it affect on visa decision?
