Spouse Visa

Hi ,

I am a greencard holder , I applied for citizenship also . I got married recently in India , my husband is in India. We applied for I 130 in nov , didn't get any response yet . So wanted to apply for Vistor's Visa for him . Is it right thing to do , Please help me on this .

Find out first the status of your I-130. Did you get an email or text confirmation of its receipt (assuming you also submitted G-1145 form), or a hradcopy receipt NOA in the mail?
If not, look at the back of your cashed check copy for a receipt number and check that number on the USCIS status page.

Yes , I got receipt notice by mail with in 1 week , after that no update it is been 2 months .
Can I apply for vistors visa for my husband now ?

Yes, you can apply anytime for a visitor visa, but he might not get it.
